Winter Wonderland. The children were able to ice skate, go inside the igloo, make some hot chocolate, and have a snow ball fight. We used large soft sock for the children to put over their shoes. This saved us a lot of time with having to put on and take off children's shoes.

Space Station
A rocket ship made out of a card board box. One child was allowed in the rocket ship at a time.
The children used the control panel to get to outer space.
Kindergarten Classroom
This is a "kindergarten classroom". We turned the dramatic play area into a kindergarten classroom to prep the children that will be attending kindergarten in the fall at a new school.

House Keeping
This was a house keeping theme. Children could do laundry, vacuum, and clean.
These were home made, washer and dryer, simply made out of card board boxes.
Flower Shop
The garden shop was a place where children could garden, arrange flowers, buy flowers, and plant. Inside the sink of the dramatic play area we put some real grass for the children to observe.
All different types of seeds of flowers, fruits, and vegetables.
The flower shop have a variety of different flowers, all found at the dollar store.
The greenhouse where children could plant.
This was inside the box, we put a bucket with some soil where the children could "plant" and garden.
Construction Site
For the construction site we used an old box which was a place for the children to look at different books about construction. This box was also where children could hammer and build.
We used old recyclable supplies like card board tubes, plastic pipes, and boxes.
We put out different types of blocks for the children to build with like rock blocks, brick blocks, and foam blocks.
Dinosaur Land
We used an old box to create a "Dino Den" this was a place where the children could read a variety of different books that we have available for the children.
We used a variety of different dinosaurs for the children to use.
We used rock blocks to create a place where the dinosaurs live.
We used recyclables and other things around our center to create the dinosaur theme.
